Ruby slipper events is a promotion company ran by my mother and I. We decided to start this company because there were many event holders out there that we were just not satisfied with. It felt like they were just there to take our money, they didn’t make us feel completely comfortable and they did not advertise enough. Our goal is to make sure we have a venue not only we can enjoy, but one you can as well.
We also wanted to be able to make a difference in charities near and dear to our heart. Some of the few we plan on donating too are Ovarian Cancer research, many different veterans programs, and heart disease and St. Judes Hospital. These are just a few we can help. These are near and dear to our heart because we have been touched in some way or another by these charities.
The name Ruby Slipper is inspired by my grandma Ruby, my Moms’ Mother, who was full of grace, beauty, love and support. Grandma was taken too early from us a year after being diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Ovarian Cancer is a disease that is still to this day found too late and devestates the victim and families. We would like to help honor Grandma and many others affected by cancers, diseases, and those who serve our country. Together we can make a difference!
